On April 18, a special train full of Maersk containers from Nanchang Xiangtang International Land Port entered Xiamen's multimodal port station. The train was loaded with light trucks from Jiangling Motor, a famous company in Jiangxi province, sold to overseas markets, marking the first time Maersk has transported goods directly to South America via a special train from Nanchang to Xiamen port using the "one-order system" of sea-rail combined transport.

The successful implementation of Maersk's Sea-rail combined transport project has achieved a breakthrough in the company's sea-rail combined transport service in Xiamen port from zero to one. And greatly shorten the logistics transportation time, reduce the comprehensive logistics cost. This high efficiency, low cost one-stop service, so that the product in the export of foreign trade more dominant. It will further improve Maersk's inland extended service network with Xiamen Port as its transit base, and help further enhance the functions of Xiamen Port as an international hub port.
